How Not To Perish – A Tutor’s Anecdotes

Description

It was on 30th January 2021, the day of final goodbyes, things conclusively toughened, as they had done for the past fortnight. As we wondered and sought comfort from each other who were gathered there, the words “How Not to Perish”, came to mind and stuck there. A decision was thus made to pen a book for posterity. This book chronicles family anecdotes stemming from legendary relatives who in their being embraced the timeless principles of hard work, cleanliness, accountability, integrity, honesty, time management, leadership, spiritual uprightness, orderliness, carefulness, among others. Furthermore, it is a resource about the good times, as well as some challenges, problems, troubles, trials, obstacles and hard times that ancestors confront, deal with and overcome to thrive. It provides great lessons on the need for succeeding generations to take up the baton, soldier on and never give up, but to strive to enjoy the best memories, as well as reverse odds to build better futures. These lessons have been weaved and pieced into this memoir.
