This book is a product of the author’s life experience and information that he acquired through research, consultation and formal education. The book contains various chapters; each chapter handling a specific topic. The author discusses the origin of Bayokha Clan of the Isukha community, a sub-tribe of a Luhya tribe of Kenya. He also sheds light on the culture practiced by the Luhya community and the story of Nabongo Mumia and administration structure of the Luhya. Through this book, he elaborates on various aspects of life and how people stayed together in harmony and how they were supposed to conduct themselves. Apart from discussing the Isukha community’s economical life, the book also lists the kings of various sub-tribes of the Luhya community. In addition, the book contains information about building and construction starting from the plan, materials, various stages of construction and the duration and the duration for every stage. The book also serves as a Christian religion guideline as it guides the reader for easy reading of the bible by directing the reader to specific chapters and verses.

Noah Yakhama is a retired building contractor who worked all over Kenya and also worked in the neighboring country of Uganda. He was a certified contractor and owned his construction company by the name Shilomi Construction Company which was registered by the national government. He also served the church as an evangelist at The Friends’ Church. Noah was born to Christian parents and grew up in a Christian background; he was also baptized for Book One and Book Two. He stays near Kakamega Forest from where he has learnt about various medicinal plants. This inspired him to plant more varieties of medicinal plants.
