Description

‘My Father My Problem’ is a captivating drama about Bob, a man with unlimited resources who wanted his son John to become a medical doctor despite John’s poor academic record. He used his resources corrupting his son’s way through school and university and public institutions to become a medical doctor. Love, hatred, blackmail and death were used to attain this goal. Indeed, John became a doctor. John’s medical career was pathetic and claimed many victims, one of them being his own Father. After Bob’s death and subsequent convictions, John came to the realisation that his problem was indeed his father. The story is a classic abstract of what corruption can do to a nation, eat its own children. In this regard Robert Omusonga believes corruption in Africa is socially deep rooted and technically system driven. There is no ultimate legal, political or social-economic solution to corruption in Africa. It is not a spiritual matter. It is by going through the harsh consequences of corruption that a nation or a generation will painfully stumble on ultimate solutions to corruption in Africa.

Robert Jere Omusonga is indeed a multifaceted individual with significant contributions to engineering, education, and youth development. His academic background includes a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering Systems & Management and he is currently pursuing a PhD in applied electromagnetics. With a career spanning various roles within the Aviation Industry and beyond, his technical and managerial expertise is well-recognized. Additionally, his commitment to supporting youth through the Anukode Foundation highlights his dedication to fostering innovation and creativity.
